From 8pm - "From the Test to the Merrimack: 17th Century Puritan Migrations from Wherwell" – presented via a Zoom meeting. Their stories intertwine in fascinating ways, connected by marriage and ideas of free will and Puritanism. Expect some fascinating anecdotes about the Reverend Stephen Batchelder and the De La Warres, along with the Osgoods and Fowlers and Abbotts. Kathleen Osgood is a comparative literature scholar with work among northern native peoples. Retired now, she has taught for the University of the Arctic and The Center for Circumpolar Studies.
