HORACE HIGH SCHOOL EARNS FIRST STATE TITLE

WEST FARGO — Horace High School’s Student Congress returned from the North Dakota High School Activities Association’s State Student Congress with the school’s first state championship.

It is only the third year of competition for Horace

High School with second and fifth place finishes in 2021 and 2020 respectively.

At the individual level, Griffin Terras was named the House I Champion. Maggie Dick was voted by her peers to serve as the Presiding Officer in House II. Jayla Ridout was voted by her peers to serve as the Presiding Officer in House IV. Ezra Powell was named the House VI Champion. Lucy Scherbenske was voted by her peers to serve as the Presiding Officer in House VI.
