Mateusz’s journey to professionalism with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) – member interview. - Mateusz, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Can you please introduce yourself and explain your current role? - My name is Mateusz Graczyk. I’m currently responsible for Treasury Risk Management at Citi. I’ve literally just joined the newly established Warsaw team called Treasury Risk Coverage which is part of the central team in the United States. We are responsible for reviewing and challenging sixteen liquidity risk processes across the globe. These processes include collateral management, limits and triggers, stress metrics, funding liquidity plans, intraday liquidity management as well as some investment activities, like new product proposals.
- That’s quite a big role within Citi. Can you tell us a little bit about your career path? How did it all start? - Before I joined Citi, I had been a deputy team leader for Cross-Asset Exotic Derivatives Middle Office Desk at NatWest Markets, which is an investment arm of the Royal Bank
