Youth in the world: Cooperation with countries other than the neighbouring countries of the European Union

YOLO! YOuth Learning Opportunities

IDEA Young people are the core of every society. Their innovative ideas and creativity can be the basic ingredient for the development of any community as well as of Civil Society. In the face of the economic crisis in Europe and in other places in the world, young people are experiencing feelings of uncertainty for their future, which lead to lack of motivation for a more active involvement and participation in Civil Society.

Non formal education and youth work is a significant factor for the personal development, activation and the inclusion of young people, regardless of their social or national background. This project aims to implement activities that build the capacity and skills of youth workers and of Youth organisations’ staff in order for them to be able to support the young people in facing today’s challenges.

It also aspires to create a network of Youth organizations in various countries in the world that will collaborate in common future activities, exchanging experiences, ideas and good practices and implementing common projects.
