Essential Experiences - Our Suggestions

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

Rising 1,401 feet above the streets of New York, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is one of the tallest buildings in Midtown Manhattan and offers breathtaking views from its transparent skyboxes. The most daring can ride the world’s largest glassfloor lifts even further, to the highest panoramic viewing point in Midtown. There are also art installations and cocktails to enjoy.

Sports Events

Sport is a huge part of American culture and New Yorkers are hugely passionate about their home-town teams. Whether it’s watching the Yankees play baseball in the Bronx or the Rangers or the Knicks play ice hockey and basketball at Madison Square Garden, we can get you tickets for the greatest games in town.

Architectural Tour

Skyscrapers may have been invented in Chicago but they were perfected in New York. We can arrange architectural tours in various districts of New York, in which local experts guide you through the city’s many architectural styles, from stately Federal and exuberant Beaux Arts to brutalist postmodern and contemporary projects from international ‘starchitects’.

Broadway Shows

There’s no more quintessential a New York experience than catching a show beneath the bright lights of Broadway. Given the popularity of some shows, we recommend pre-booking tickets through us before you travel. We can even arrange for you to join a cast member for a private backstage tour after the performance to see sets, costumes and props close up.

9/11 Memorial Private Tour

The events of 9/11 were perhaps the most pivotal in modern history. We can arrange private guided tours of Ground Zero featuring stops at St Paul’s Chapel, the 9/11 Memorial, the FDNY Memorial Wall, the 9/11 Museum, the Oculus and more, led by New Yorkers with personal connections to the tragic events of 11 September 2001.

Hudson Yards

Explore one of New York’s hottest new neighbourhoods, Hudson Yards. Highlights include the interdisciplinary arts centre The Shed; Vessel, an Instagram-ready basket of infinite staircases; and Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the western hemisphere. The really brave can even scale the outside of the skyscraper, 1,200 feet above the ground.
