EXOTIC RIVERS of the WORLD From the beginning, Amadeus River Cruises has been a pioneer in the art of river cruising on Europe's most beautiful waterways. We are pleased to continue this tradition by presenting cruises on some of the world's most exotic rivers – the Amazon, the Ganges, the Irrawaddy, and the Mekong Rivers. Each of these cruises have been selected for you to experience the best of the countries and regions sailed through, with experienced and knowledgeable English speaking guides and attentive staff. The vessels are selected for their comfort and authentic feel, including the amenities expected of a luxury hotel including individual climate control in each cabin, premium mattresses, luxurious linens, spa quality bath amenities, fitness rooms and traditional spa treatments. You are sure to make the memories of a lifetime whether you choose the Mighty Mekong River, cruising between fabled Siem Reap and cosmopolitan Ho Chi Minh City; the “Road to Mandalay” along Myanmar’s Irrawaddy River; India’s sacred Mother Ganges; or the Amazon Exploration with the staggering breadth of flora and fauna that exists along the Amazon River.

Water. A source of life. As you cruise along the river, life will unfold before you. Glide by local villagers coming to the river to fish, collect water for fields, bring livestock to drink, or to simply pay homage and pray. It's a source for flora and fauna and tropical rainforests. English speaking travelers can now enjoy unparalleled destination expertise and fully immersive cultural experiences offered in these unique destinations. Discover the very dynamic waterways in comfort and style aboard our carefully selected ships. Your cruise experience includes all excursions, local cuisine specialties and cultural performances. Sharing the Mekong River and a long border, Vietnam and Cambodia have rich histories that often intersect. The Mekong River is the source of life for the people of the nations through which she flows: they live, work, eat, sleep, and even shop on her surface and along her banks. Southeast Asia has long been known for its storied history, ancient temples, and the smiles of its people. You will visit places that will educate, challenge, and ultimately inspire you, seeing places few outsiders have ventured, and meeting people who have rarely, if ever, seen a Westerner.

The Irrawaddy river is a source of continuity and hope for the people of Myanmar. It is an integral part of both rural and urban centers. This incredible journey transports you through areas of Myanmar rarely visited by westerners and not accessible other than by river. Every port will tell a story from the more than 2200 intricately carved temples to the handmade pottery made in the village of Yandabo and floating down the unchanged Irrawaddy for over hundreds of years, this experience is like no other you’ve experienced.
