With us, your cruise starts at your own front door. That’s because we include a chauffeur service at no extra charge.

On departure day your driver will arrive in good time, load up your suitcases, and drive you to the port stress-free. Just sit back, and start dreaming about that first cocktail, and all the new destinations you’ll be ticking off.

You won’t be going near a crowded airport. Instead, our hassle-free cruises depart right here in the UK. It gets you into the holiday mood in no time. Want to drive yourself to the port? That’s fine too, and we’re happy to arrange free car parking for you. Leave it all to us.

Now you’ve arrived, it’s time to step aboard the ship.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Welcome aboard your boutique ship. First impressions count, and you’ll step into the grand atrium where our smiling crew will be waiting to greet you.

As a smaller ship with fewer guests on board, we’ll really get to know you by name. Not just that, but also your favourite drink at the bar, how you like your steak, and if you prefer a morning cup of tea or coffee.

With one member of staff to every two guests, there are enough of us to ensure you receive genuine, attentive service. And always with gratuities included, so everyone can relax.

Whether you sail away on Spirit of Adventure or Spirit of Discovery, expect the service to surpass your expectations.

First things first, it’s time to settle into your cabin.

YOUR VERY OWN BALCONY AT SEA

There’s nothing better than your own window on the world. Especially when the view changes every day, with a new destination to explore and discover.

Our new sister ships go further. Every cabin has a private balcony, so you’ll always have your own outside space to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and even to dine al fresco in the sunshine.

There’s a choice of cabin grades, all beautifully designed to showcase the best in contemporary British decor. This includes over 100 dedicated single cabins, more than any other ship on the ocean wave. To make your cruise experience even more indulgent, you might like to upgrade to a suite. These are larger with separate living areas, even more luxury facilities, and a butler service.

CHOOSING HOW TO SPEND YOUR DAYS

Everyone’s idea of a perfect cruise is different. Some want to relax by the pool with a cocktail. While others like to work-out in the gym. Maybe you’re looking for a little bit of both?

When you’re not out exploring another exciting destination, your day on the ship can be as active or laid-back as you choose. With guest speakers, craft classes and complimentary afternoon tea to enjoy, you’re free to decide what to do and when you want to do it.

And while our ships may be smaller, you’ll be amazed just how spacious and packed with facilities they are. Around the decks you can get active with a fitness class, treat yourself to some pampering in the spa, or go for a stroll around the wraparound promenade.

A daily programme will be delivered to your cabin each evening – use it to plan all the activities you want to join the next day, from quizzes to deck games and film screenings. All are included at no extra cost.

EXTRA-SPECIAL SPECIALITY DINING

Deciding when and where to dine is all part of the boutique cruise experience.

The main dining rooms are fine dining restaurants that serve British and International cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Near the top of the ship, The Grill offers a similar menu in a more informal setting, with the option to dine outside on the verandah.

For dinner, you can reserve a table at one of the speciality restaurants. These have fewer than 80 covers, so they are intimate and refined.

Choose from Khukuri House on Spirit of Adventure, the world’s first Nepalese restaurant at sea, or Amalfi, a high-end Italian eatery. While Spirit of Discovery offers Asian-fusion dining in East to West, and seafood specialities in Coast to Coast. Whether you eat in the main dining rooms or a speciality restaurant, there is never a bill to worry about. All your meals and all-inclusive drinks are included in the price.

After your delicious meal, it’s time to choose how you will spend the rest of your evening.

ENTERTAINMENT DAY AND NIGHT

As the sun goes down, our ships take on their own special atmosphere.

After dinner, take your seat for all the razzle-dazzle of a West Endstyle show in the Playhouse theatre.

It’s also the venue for concerts, live entertainment and cinema screenings.

But there is so much more going on around the ships. Head to the dancefloor for a boogie with a live band in the Britannia Lounge, or enjoy classical recitals in the supper clubs.

All-inclusive cocktails mean you can

socialise with friends in the bars or Living Room area, and perhaps relax to a little night music from the resident pianist.

You can look forward to the occasional formal evening, getting dressed up for dinner and a show. There are usually around two formal evenings for every week you spend on board.

On every cruise, we include a selection of sightseeing excursions. Look forward to exploring natural wonders, historic cities, ancient ruins and beautiful gardens.

We’ll send you details a few weeks before you depart, so you can pre-book which ones you would like to join. These tours are designed to give you a real flavour of what each port has to offer.
