BANK OF UTICA RISING PHOENIX HOLDINGS CORP. MASTROVITO HYUNDAI FIRST SOURCE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION CHARLES A. GAETANO CONSTRUCTION“Staffworks was on-board from day one with MV Gives and we were proud to return as a presenting sponsor in year two. The community-wide, inclusive mission behind MV Gives is at the core of our corporate philanthropy. It was an exciting experience to be part of such a large, meaningful event with 255 nonprofits. We were all on a unified team with one mission to collectively help our community.”
ANITA VITULLO , FOUNDER/PRESIDENT, STAFFWORKS, INC.“M&T Bank is proud to partner with initiatives that place emphasis on giving back to nonprofits in the community, which is exactly what MV Gives does. Not only did we return to be a presenting sponsor, but we also powered the Piece of the Pie Prize Pool, which awarded monetary prizes to organizations who received at least one online donation on September 20. We are honored to be able to support so many nonprofits that help make our community vibrant.”
DAVE MANZELMANN , MARKET PRESIDENT, M&T BANK M&TNonprofits are vital to the places we call home—they provide programs, services, and resources to meet community needs. One of the goals of Mohawk Valley Gives is to provide nonprofits with a platform to help them raise awareness and educate members of their communities on the work they do.

“We are so proud to be part of this amazing day of community giving for the second year in a row. In 2023, we more than doubled both our donors and earnings from 2022 and saw online donations from many new donors—a homerun for women and girls here in our community. We thank the Community Foundation for allowing us to be part of this day and creating the pathways to new friendships in the Mohawk Valley.”
DIANNE STANCATO, CEO, YWCA MOHAWK VALLEY“This campaign supported upgrades to three Little Falls facilities offering services such as emergency and senior housing, child-care services, health and fitness programs, and much more. Using the Mohawk Valley Gives portal exposed our campaign to a broader pool of regional donors and streamlined everything from credit card and bank transactions to analytical reporting. It really simplified the whole process.”
ANTHONY “TONY” DELUCA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LITTLE FALLS YOUTH & FAMILY CENTER“MV Gives gave us a wonderful platform to raise funds from so many different people and places that we could never access on our own. It was easy to use, and I appreciated the support from the Community Foundation in getting our campaign all set up. We attracted quite a few new members throughout the event as well—a welcome bonus I did not expect! We plan to use the funds raised to provide free concerts in the community and musical instruction for individuals looking to start playing Bluegrass and other traditional music.”
BILL FAHY, PRESIDENT, MOHAWK VALLEY BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION“Mohawk Valley Gives was a tremendous success for On Point for College Utica. We exceeded our goal, acquired dozens of new donors and have more funds to forward the educational and career dreams of 2,000 area students with our comprehensive services. The match and new donor incentive from UpMobility Foundation was also a key to our success.”
