a bubble surrounds me. and responsibilities and commitments pound their fists, scream their muffled cries, leaving little spidery cracks that threaten the day that my bubble will shatter and rain down on me in splintery shards of glass.
happiness comes in an orange bottle and tastes like chalk. my words have no weight unless they’re in 12-point times new roman. for I am a child, or at least treated like one, yet expected to behave like a small adult.
life is an endless loop, every soul just another pawn in the system, completing one dull task after another, with no way out. running on a hamster wheel, spinning faster and faster yet going nowhere.
