Market Overview FIRST HALF 2022
First Half Recap The Luxury Market remained strong in Vermont and New Hampshire for both states combined during the First Half of 2022. The number of $1 million plus Properties Sold increased 37% while the Average Sale Price remained relatively flat at +0.4% and the Average Days on Market decreased by 47% in both states combined. Vermont reflected a 29% increase in Properties Sold with an Average Sales Price increase of 4% and Average Days on Market decreased 35%. Similarly, New Hampshire reflected a 42% increase in Properties Sold, a slight decrease in Average Sale Price and a 49% decrease in Average Days on Market.
Moving into the Second Half We are beginning to see a moderate slowing as the market begins to adjust to rising interest rates and high inflation. Pricing appropriately, preparing your home for market and marketing to the right Buyers will become even more critical in order to sell your property in a timely manner.
