Central Vermont MARKET REPORT | Q1 - Q3 2023
Market Overview At A Glance CENTRAL VERMONT The Central Vermont region housing market, defined by Lamoille, Orange and Washington counties, began to show signs of cooling a little in 2023. Limited inventory remained the major driving factor, and the total number of units sold was down by -22.7% across the Central Vermont region. However, the average sales price increased by +10.0%, and the average days on market remained flat. There is a full breakdown by county and town in this report for more details at a local market level. Moving into the remainder of 2023 and into the First Half of 2024, we anticipate that buyer demand will continue to be strong, driven by limited inventory and that pricing will continue to hold steady. Pricing appropriately for Sellers will become of the utmost importance in order to sell in a timely manner.
