The Rutland County housing market began to normalize in 2022 after nearly two red-hot years.
Limited inventory remained a major driving factor, and the total number of units sold was down by 16.2% across Rutland County. However, the average sales price increased by 12.0%, and the average days on market decreased by 32.4%. Additionally properties sold above list price increased slightly by +0.7%.

Moving into 2023, the majority of headlines on a national level are predicting a downturn in the housing market. However, we have not seen that swift downturn of activity in Rutland County.
