Market Overview At A Glance RUTLAND COUNTY The Rutland County housing market began to slow to pre-pandemic levels during Q1Q3 2023 due primarily to limited inventory available for sale. The total number of units sold was down by -26.3% across Rutland County. Additionally, the average sales price decreased by -3.4%, and the average days on market decreased by +14.6%. The most active markets in Rutland County were Brandon, Castleton, Killington and Rutland City. There is a full breakdown by town in this report for more details at a local market level. For the remainder of 2023 and into 2024, we anticipate that buyer demand will continue to be active, driven by limited inventory and that pricing will continue to hold steady.
