Q1 - Q3 2018
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER We are proud to share our Q1 - Q3 2018 Market Report for the Southern New Hampshire Region real estate markets. In this report you will find year over year market trends by Town in order to provide you with the most updated information so that you can make the most informed decisions as you evaluate your real estate options. Overall, the real estate market is showing steady growth for the Q1 - Q3 2018 time period for the Southern New Hampshire Region. Specifically, Merrimack County closed sales in units decreased -3.9%, however, total sales volume increased +4.3% and the Median Sales Price increased +7.4% while Average Days on Market decreased -10.6%. For Hillsborough County, closed sales in units increased +2.1% and total sales volume was up +6.9.%, while the Median Sales Price increased +6.0% and the Average Days on Market decreased by -8.2%. Now is a great time to sell if you are considering listing your home! The lack of inventory will continue to be a major driving factor in the lower and mid-range segments. However, the economy is strong with low unemployment and wages have begun to show some improvement. We are cautiously optimistic that the current trends will continue throughout the remainder of 2018 and into the First Half of 2019 even in the face of likely higher mortgage rates and the new federal tax legislation’s impact on the market.
