Q1 — Q3 2018

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER We are proud to share our Upper Valley Real Estate Market Report for the Q1 - Q3 2018. In this report, you will find year-over-year market trends for each of the major towns and areas within the Upper Valley. Our goal is to provide you with the most up-to-date information and empower you to make more informed decisions in regards to buying and selling real estate. Overall, the Upper Valley real estate market was very strong during the Q1 - Q3 2018 time period. Specifically, results year-over-year in Grafton County, New Hampshire are as follows: - unit sales are up +5.4% - sales volume is up +16.6% - median sales price is up +13.5% - average days on market are down -1.0% These are all signs of a strong market with rising sales prices primarily related to demand which outpaces available inventory. However, Windsor County, Vermont is experiencing a slightly softer market, but the pending sales volume is up +5.9% which indicates that this subset of the market could be picking up. The nation as a whole is experiencing a shortage of housing inventory and the Upper Valley is no exception where the impact is being felt in almost all price ranges. This is great news, though, if you’ve been thinking of selling. Right now may be just the perfect time to make the most of your real estate investment.
