THE LUXURY MARKET NEW HAMPSHIRE The Luxury Market - defined as $600K+ and $1MM+ residential properties - was very strong in New Hampshire during 2019. New Hampshire exhibited a strong luxury market with the number of properties sold $600K+ reflecting a +10% increase with the average sale pricing also increasing +4%. For $1MM+ properties, the number of properties sold increased +18% and the average selling price increased +6%. Pricing appropriately in this type of marketplace is critical and many sellers have had to adjust their pricing expectations from buyers in order to be competitive. The economy remains strong and we expect that to continue into 2020 leading up to the election. Although mortgage rates increased last year, they are still at relatively low levels. The lack of Inventory remains an issue and has resulted in driving prices up. Overall, we expect the market in 2020 to continue the trends from 2019 and continue to grow.
