RUTLAND COUNTY

The Rutland County housing market began to normalize to pre-pandemic levels in the First Half of 2023 after more than two red-hot years.

Limited inventory remained a major driving factor, and the total number of units sold was down by -28.8% across Rutland County. Additionally, the average sales price decreased by -9.8%, and the average days on market decreased by +15.4%.

The most active markets in Rutland County were Brandon, Castleton, Killington and Rutland City. There is a full breakdown by town in this report for more details at a local market level.
