The Linjett 34 has a relatively larger sail area compared to her sisters, and she has got speed even in lighter wind conditions. Aside from creating a yacht that would be a joy to sail, the goal when developing the rig and sails was to create a flexible sail wardrobe that could easily transform to fit the circumstances and the crew onboard. If, for example, you choose the 107% furling jib, it is marked so that it can be furled in just the right amount to make it work as the self-tacking jib solution that is standard.
