While the inverted bow creates a stunning visual impact, it is also designed to create a wider foredeck that is safer to work on, while simultaneously maintaining a narrower waterline. The inverted bow also provides the hull with a longer waterline, as the length overall also becomes the waterline length, and by extension increases performance.
