Auction Terms

All item descriptions, including condition, are guaranteed. If you purchase one of these lots and feel the item was not accurately described, contact us within 7 days of receipt of the item for a full refund. Additional and close-up photos are available on request.

Lot descriptions end with an estimate selling range. The purpose of these estimates is to give the bidder an idea of the value of each item. The reserve for each item is set at 80% of the low estimate and bids not meeting the reserve will not be accepted.

Bid as much as the item is worth to you, we will enter your bid on your behalf. A winning bid will be reduced to 5% over the second highest bid.

You may submit multiple bids and stipulate your order of preference and maximum dollar amount that you do not wish to exceed.

In preparing your bids, please double check the lot numbers and bid amounts. Your errors will be your responsibility.

Bid early since tie bids will be awarded to the earliest bid received. Bids after July 15th should be made by phone, fax, or email to insure your bids are received in time. 631553-3841 A 20% buyers premium will be added to each winning bid.

We will be adding shipping and insurance to each invoice. Most 1/2 liter steins will be around $20 to $25, while large items will be more. Insurance is figured at $2 per $100 value. Foreign shipments are more expensive.

Bids may be submitted by mail, by fax, by email or phone. We send verification on all bids received by email. If you do not receive verification, please assume that we did not receive your email and bid another way.

No purchases will be released by the auction without full payment. We reserve the right to hold merchandise until after checks clear from successful bidders not previously known to us.

Foreign buyers must pay in US dollars or approved checks drawn on an American bank.

Results of this sale will be mailed to all participating bidders, successful or not. They will go in the mail several days after the sale has concluded.

If you are no longer interested in receiving our catalogs, please let us know. We are now accepting consignments for future auctions. Let us know if you would like to schedule a visit. We have the most reasonable commission rates in the business. We can travel anywhere in the country to pick up large collections.

Our commission rate is the lowest in the business. We do not penalize you with a minimum lot charge. There are no other hidden fees. We also take care of the expense of picking up your collection and getting it back to our alarmed insured warehouse.

We will be traveling across the country this Summer, call and make an appointment should you have steins to consign.
