As we enter a new year, I would like to commend each of you for overcoming the unfamiliar and unique challenges that brought. We have all learned to adjust to new ways of navigating life as we know it since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic

We have watched the pandemic impact countries around the world. As I reflect on its impact in rural Alabama, I stand in awe of the collaborative efforts made by leaders across West Alabama. Each of you have answered the call of duty to meet the he level of strategic plann and coordination that has occurred to ensure testing for our most vulnerable populations has been remarkable. We have all worked together to provide resources, funding, and above all the people that were willing to stand on the front lines to . Leaders from local municipalities, school systems, housing authorities, and community organizations have risen to the occasion and RHMPI is overjoyed to continue these necessary partnerships because we are definitely -- better together.
