Congratulations, Class of 2023!
It is my pleasure to join with the family and friends of the Class of 2023 to celebrate the class accomplishments. This class certainly faced a most distinctive high school experience. Each of your four years at PCHS has been unique and we’re proud to see you make the most of the circumstances you faced. Your freshman year was typical, your sophomore year cut short, and your junior year included many limitations. Luckily, though, your senior year was progressively relieved of those restrictions and a return to normalcy was initiated. Thank you for working so diligently to reinstate what we knew to be normal at PCHS! We wish you the best!

I am active primarily in the fine arts department. I dipped my toes in such a thing since 8th grade and have been in the fine arts department for four years!
I’ve been in multiple theatre productions, my first high school performance being a competitive piece in One Act called ‘Place on the Hill.’ And then the following musicals: ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Spongebob: The Musical’ in my sophomore year. Then my junior year I played two lead roles in ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Peter and the Starcatcher’, where I played Judy Haynes and Molly Aster. And now this senior year, I play another lead role in the upcoming musical: ‘Disaster!’ and another in the class show ‘Midsummer’s Night Dream’. Theatre has been a huge part of my high school career, especially last summer where I went to a three-week governor’s school camp for acting in UVA Wise. I learned a lot from that experience and was able to imply it and teach it to younger generations after helping at a theatre camp at PCHS. My experiences I hope will continue to travel with me as I enter into the real world, where I will be attending college and going into community theatre. My goal is to show that creativity and embracing a more comfortable side of you is something that should be ideal, rather than embarrassing. And amidst all of that, I am also working on an album that I have hopes will be released when I am about to graduate. Because the brain juices just won’t stop flowing!
