Recipes
Hamburger Rice Casserole
1 lb hamburger
1 cup rice (uncooked)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 medium onion, chopped
6 table spoons BBQ sauce
2 table spoons brown sugar
4 cups boiling water
Brown meat & onion and set aside. Pour boiling water over rice in dish. Add soup, stir until dissolved. Add BBQ sauce, brown sugar, meat and onion. Mix well. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Beat until creamy: 1 cup Crisco ¼ cup sugar ¾ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 package instant vanilla pudding
Add: 2 eggs
Sift and add: 2 ½ cups flour 1 teaspoon soda
Stir in: 1 package 12 oz chocolate chips.
Batter will be stiff. Place spoon fulls on ungreased cookie sheets. Back at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Jiffy Pie
Grease round cake pan. Put pie filling in and sprinkle 1 box Jiffy cake mix over filling. Melt ¼ cup of butter, add ¼ cup of milk. Pour butter and milk mixture on and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
Cheesy Chowder Soup
Combine: 2 cups boiling water 2 cups sliced pota toes ½ cup carrot slices ¼ cup chopped onion 1 ½ teaspoons salt
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. (do not drain veg etables)
Make white sauce: ¼ cup butter, ¼ flour, 2 cups milk. Add two cups cubed cheese and stir until melted. Add 1 cup ham cubes. Add the undrained vegetables. Heat, DO NOT BOIL.
Peanut Butter Parfait
Blend: 3 tablespoons pea nut butter 1 cup whipped topping
Prepare: 1 package instant chocolate pudding.
Put half of pudding in parfait glasses. Add part of whipped topping mixture, put on other half of pudding. Add a little whipped topping mixture on top. Chill for about 15 minutes.
