Facebook, Google, Microsoft and many other tech companies have admitted to taking data we voluntarily and involuntary input into our computers and selling it to third parties who have unknown agendas. Information such as what school we attended, what our occupation is, and who we are married to along with every other piece of information on our computers or on the web, are taken and used as currency. Information is power, we all knew this, but information taken from the social media accounts of billions across the world is control. Control over the way you think, what political party you will vote for next, what you will order from the takeout next friday, what you you love and what you will hate, who you will befriend and dismiss.
