digital human optimistic bold In the near future payment systems will change. There will be no debit or credit card, but just smarphone and smartwatch connected to your bank. Anything will go contactless and will be controlled using your digital devices. Ivy Ross, Vice President of Design for Hardware at Google, said: “We started with the word human which implied certain forms and it meant the shapes were rounded and more natural

Magic make us children again Designers were asked to design an espresso machine focusing on specific user and market needs and trends of the near future.
sensible tactile alluring interactive Today normal coffee machines are solely used as tools to make coffee. Superonava is handled sensually in a way users can experience a sense of momentary magic while making coffee.
Magic is happening Fill the tank with water, insert the capsule, place the coffee cup on the tray, chose your favourite coffee, enjoy!
Future trends Lavazza wanted to explore a new premium style based on dark or light colors and double finishing, matte and glossy. The espresso machine camouflages itself in the imagined environment.

Freely orbiting as planets Designers were asked to design an iconic object analyzing carefully materials and technologies to produce it, using Cristalplant material.
how is it made ? The production technology of Cristalplant is based on cast moulding and it can be easily cut and glued, so the moulded object can be divided even in two or more parts to be later joined. The tap is made by extrustion and then a robot makes threads and holes through a milling and drilling process.

Gathering around a modern bonfire Designers were asked to design an hybrid product for the home environment combining Fratelli Guzzini home catalog and iGuzzini lighting catalog.
sharing nomadic people domestic Kangaroo is a nomadic food warmer that emits light warming up the atmosphere in a domestic environment. As nomadic people use to gather around a bonfire, nowdays people want to share their eating moments with their relatives and friends gathering around a modern object able to give them the same feelings.
Get emotional Charge the food warmer, put it on its bowl and turn it on. While warming turn on the light. Now you can live the moment.
Warming up the atmosphere The concept is to merge into a single piece of design a container, a light and a food warmer.
Rendered in Vray for 3DS Max.
Minimal goods Dark, white and petrol green are the colors chosen for the Guzzini food warmer. Inspired by the softness of nature and plants.
