This just isn’t normal Something is amiss Let me call the waitress “Hello, excuse me miss”
There’s something really wrong here It’s thrown me for a loop I don’t like to complain but there’s a gorilla in my soup
He’s eating all the bread sticks Smashing up the plates He’s doing all the things I know my mommy hates
Now dripping off the table, is a mess of slimy goop. They’re going to think I did it, but it was the gorilla in my soup!
His elbows are on the table, he’s leaning in the chair, he even put a wad of gum in my little sisters hair.
Now she’s crying loudly in front of the dinner group No, I didn’t do it! It was the gorilla in my soup!
“Don’t tell me a gorilla did all this” Mommy blames me for the mess “Sorry, it was was my friend” As I look down at my chest
“Ooo, Aaa, oooh, Aaa, Aaa” There was no one I can see. I looked around and realized, the gorilla was mocking me.
A closer look in the bowl it became clear to me, I had to blink twice but, The gorilla in the soup was me!
