OUR HISTORY Mr. Aftab Ahmed is a businessman who started supplying fresh poultry products to the five star hotels in Delhi. During his visits to the restaurants

and interaction with best chefs and industry experts of that era, a deep interest in cooking was developed. This interest was so profound that he decided to wind up his poultry supply business and bought a piece of land in Ganesh Nagar to open his first restaurant “CHICKEN TAKEAWAY”. He started with a limited menu of lip-smacking, delicious kebabs and fried chicken. With Kebabs becoming an instant hit, Mr. Aftab innovated and created fried chicken lollipop, which went on to become a landmark

product in Nazeer’s history. After a glimpse of the huge demand and love for the food, soon the focus changed to become a complete restaurant and he introduced many new mouth-watering dishes, which Nazeer is renowned for now. In process

MILESTONES THE RISE OF NAZEER FOODS

1980

ESTABLISHED BY MR. AFTAB AHMAD Journey was started by Mr. Aftab Ahmed, at Ganesh Nagar- Delhi in a small shop called Chicken Takeaway selling mouth-watering Kebab’s. Soon he introduced scintillating recipes and Chicken Takeaway became the go to place for foodies.

2002 SECONDRESTAURANT OPENED Second restaurant was opened at Vinod Nagar, with that name was changed from Chicken Takeawayto Nazeer foods.


2004 IMRAN AHMED GOT ASSOCIATED. SETUP Eldest of four sons Mr. Imran Ahmed, joined his father’s business at a very young ageof 18. His passion for restaurant was so much that he left studies after completing high school. He registered the company and trademarked Nazeer logo in 2005. With his dream of making Nazeer multi store restaurant business, he opened the third branch at Noida Sec-18 and the journey of becoming a brand started taking shape.

2006 BASE KITCHEN WAS ADDED First centralised kitchen was set up at Vinod Nagar in a carpet area of 5000 sq. feet which was catering to 6 restaurants at that time and later on it went to cater 12 restaurants by 2008.Now we are serving 40 restaurants.

@ SOUTH DELHI –MALVIYA NAGAR Tenth restaurant was opened at Malivya Nagar in posh area of south Delhi, which became an instant hit with locals.

2009

MR. ABDUL KALAM GOT ASSOCIATED Joined the business after completing his Bachelor’s Degree. The knowledge and experience which was acquired while working with major restaurant brands he learned the trade from very best in business. This knowledge was implemented in business and he created standard operating procedures for every process to make sure that no matter what the quality will not get compromised. He also brought in the technology to effectively control the whole system from his desk.


MR. SHAHNAWAZ GOT ASSOCIATED

2010

Mr. Shahnawaz’s entry to the business saw a huge change in approach to the business. His keen sense of vendor management, product knowledge and strong business sense made him a perfect candidate to take reins of new business venture. The purchase model was reformed and supply chain was updated to deal with more backward integration with the vendors.

CORPORATE OFFICE AT KAUSHAMBI The need for expansion and growth saw the company to focus on administrative part of the business as well and hence corporate oďŹƒce was purchased at the prime location of RadissonBlu Hotel in Kaushambi.

2017 FARMAN QURESHI GOT ASSOCIATED Youngest of all the brothers, Farman Qureshi joined business in 2017 and took over the responsibility of liaising with property owners, architects, and other brand development companies to take the next step in growth of the business. TODAY

Having set up all the systems to successfully run a restaurant, now we want to hit another gear and start expanding at an unprecedented rate. We have set our selves a target of opening another 500 stores and 200 Delivery Kitchens by the end of 2023, across India and even Across Boundries
