MURAL COMPETITION (SUPERHEROS) Photoshop: Mural Competition (superheroes) was a piece of graffiti artwork created along the side of a building measuring 40 metres, that not even a 10mm lens was able to capture entirely. So after it had rained and the sky had cleared I wanted to capture the the piece of graffiti artwork as it reflected its colourful image on the wet pavement and road surface. I did this by creating a composite image from three sectioned shots that were then stiched, the horizontals and verticals were corrected. Using layers a new road area was created along with road and bus stop markings, holes in glass windows were replaced, the banner above the archway in the left image removed, buildings in the skyline of the left and center image removed and the whole sky replaced, the final image was cropped to12 x 42 inches at 300dpi.
