FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Which events do I need to pay to attend? The only events that will require an attendance fee are the Festival Dinner, the Saturday Brunch and Wood Sign Painting. Each event is $5 per attendee, except for FC students and guests under 5 years of age. Please be sure to register for as many events as you plan to attend, so we can plan accordingly.

Do I need to pay for my current Franklin College student to attend family weekend? No. Franklin College students and children under 5 years of age are free of charge.

Where can I pick up my shirts? Pre-ordered shirts will be available at check-in. We conveniently place all your shirts in one bag for easy management.

If I did not order shirts, but decide later I want them, can I still get them? A limited supply of extra shirts will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis at check-in all weekend long. We cannot guarantee availability.

When will my wood sign be ready? Your wood sign will be ready for you to take home the day of the event! Once your paint dries, you are free to take your masterpiece home with you.

Is there a limit to the number of family and friends who can attend? No, the more the merrier!

I can only attend one day. Can I still attend? Absolutely! Register for the events you plan to attend so we’ll have an idea of when to expect you.

If I did not indicate that I would be attending an event on my registration form, but change my mind later, can I still attend? We ask that you please register for the events you plan to attend so we can plan for space and supplies. If that is not possible - or if your plans change - please let us know when you arrive at check-in. If the event requires an attendance fee (festival dinner, brunch or wood signs) and if space allows, you can sign up.

Are younger siblings permitted to stay in the residence halls? Residents are permitted to have younger siblings in their rooms 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Overnight guests are allowed on campus for a maximum of three consecutive nights. All overnight visitations must be consistent with any applicable roommate agreements.

I have a question that is not answered in this brochure; whom should I contact? Questions about Family Weekend can be directed to the Center for Student Involvement at 317-738-8096. The CSI is staffed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
