Mississippi farmers grow a variety of commodities, including poultry, cattle, and forestry products. 65% of Mississippi’s land is forestry, and 70% is owned by private, non-industrial landowners--individuals and families! Come learn how to manage your land in a sustainable manner that will benefit future generations! This outreach meeting will provide information to help you manage your resources effectively. Additionally, you will learn how to create income from your farmland and timber stands. Service providers from the USDA-United States Department of Agriculture and WCSHC Winston County Self Help Cooperative will share information to help your dreams come to reality. Please bring a friend, and we will see you at Calhoun County Extension Office, 121 Parker Street, Pittsboro, MS 38951.
