There are more than 20 million acres of forestland in the state of Mississippi. The role of forestland land is significant to people. Trees filter the air we breathe, provide recreation activities, and creates jobs and income for families. You are invited to participate in Mr. Napoleon Leverette’s Field Day on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 4:30 pm. Mr. Napoleon will speak in details on how he manages his forestland through conservation practices. Resource providers from Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Service Agency (FSA), and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) will be present to provide technical assistance.
