Why Fat Burning Foods Really Don’t Burn Body Fat

If you go on any website on the Internet that tries to help you lose weight, you’ll find mentions of fat burning foods. It’s actually one of the biggest “catch phrases” in the weight loss and fitness industry right now. However, what if I told you that no food really burns fat? It’s not that these companies and trainers are opening trying to trick you, they are just getting the wrong points across.

It’s not that you eat some broccoli, a super food, and fat just falls off your body. But what these foods do is allow your body to do what it does best… burn energy. And if you get out of the way, the energy it burns will be body fat. This results in you losing inches of fat from your waist, your arms, thighs, butt, and all over really quickly. Why Most Women Don’t Let The Bodies Burn Fat You’ve probably heard that one of the number one culprits to fat gain is sugar. And trust me, it really is. Sugars whether they come from processed carbs, added sugars, processed sugars like high fructose corn syrup, even fruit, can be really bad. (Only bad if abused, sugar is actually one the main energy sources for your body and brain… more on that in a later article.) But right now, women all over can lose a lot of weight and fat just by cutting 250 to 300 calories a day. When I say this, I am assuming that you’re eating too much food and you’re not trying to be on a restrictive diet right now. Bottom line, I think the biggest problem most women face is a mix of portion control and when to actually eat. You’ll see how this has to do with eating the right foods to help your body burn fat. Of the hundreds of women I’ve talked to almost all of them start their day making a huge mistake… Not eating breakfast! This causes their bodies to get really hungry through the morning. Around midday your hormones are telling you to eat like crazy… but most women again will use their will power and eat very little for lunch too. When the evening arrives, most women will begin to snack frequently, they will eat a large dinner with too big of portions, and continuing to snack after dinner. Does this sound anything like you? So with the messed up meal schedule, you for yourself to eat portions that are too big all at once. This causes your body to crave rich foods like carbs and then you spike your insulin.

You then pack on extra fat because that is all your body can do. I’ll give more to this discussion in future articles, but here is the solution that you need to learn to do. It’s really simple if you just concentrate on it. Forget about the specific foods you’re eating and…

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Eat breakfast Eat a bigger midday snack Eat a reasonably sized lunch… 350 calories Eat a smaller afternoon snack Eat a reasonable dinner Eat a small nightly snack

That is where your six meals come from. So you can see from this discussion that it’s not the actual food that is burning fat. It’s the fact that the food is helping your body become even more efficient at burning fat itself.
