the interaction between crystals and matrix, the raw natural form of a gemstone - main inspiration for shapes create organic shapes by draping on stand base garments are seen as matrix and have crystals “growing on them� organic seamlines - positioning of crystals combination of materials - heavy weight in combination with light weight
there’s some crystals that change colour in different lightning. this light changing phenomen could inspire seamlines on a garment, using different grain lines, gathering, layering ..
the alexandrite, usually emerald green during the day will change it’s colour to a rasberry red in icandescent light for example

the most valuable sapphire is corn flowerblue. some sapphires change their colour too, in artifical incandesent light they appear to be ink-blue or black-blue

cut gemstones are symmetrical and geometrical inspired by the geometric aspect of cut gemstones I also want to focus on geometric shapes
