The Promenade Homes’ architecture is graceful and contemporary, employing simple geometric forms and bold linear detailing that comes to life through contrasting textures and materiality. Angular forms and squared volumes identify individual homes and reinforce a sense of privacy. A refined modern façade of brick masonry, vertical timber-look panels, cement render, timber accents and glass, underscores a design principle that is understated yet confident in its purity and integration with its surrounds.

Designed with environmental integrity, where style meets sustainability

Smart design positions all homes with north south aspects to optimise the flow of natural light. In winter this maximises sunlight entry and in summer, structural shading offers sun protection to keep interiors cool and breezy.

Artist impression

Where possible, local products have been used in construction and for interior materials, while low volatile paints and finishes have been used throughout. Generous glazing, and private outdoor aspects open the house to optimise natural ventilation and sunlight as part of a holistic and sustainable design. A commitment to energy saving design means The Promenade Homes are on average 43–52% cheaper to run than a standard property, saving up to $772 per year1.

Energy efficient appliances and lighting are standard inclusions as a commitment to lower bills, reduced carbon emissions and a lighter environmental footprint.

Frasers Property Awards

There’s one measure above all that tells us we’ve succeeded. We never ask to see it, but we observe it often: it’s the smile of pride in what you’ve achieved. It’s seen in the nod of a neighbour, the togetherness of friends, or the laughter of children at play. Small moments that become the measure of how well you’ve planned and saved and worked to make it all happen.

What remains consistent however, is the pursuit of high quality architecture driven by the needs of the client, the site’s opportunities and the dynamic process of translating design intent into built outcome. At the core of DKO’s design philosophy, lies a commitment to an urban architecture that serves people, respects place and stands the test of time. The passionate and accomplished interior design team at DKO focus on sharp, intelligent and articulated design. With understanding of how a space works, moves and moulds with the user, DKO’s intuitive approach encourages collaboration on each project, bringing individual strengths and varied experience to maintain a crisp, lively and reflective angle on their designs.
