What’s on Covid-19 Update
At Frasers Property Australia, we are taking every precaution for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff. The evolving situation with community transmission of COVID-19 in Melbourne means that we’re following the advice of health authorities very closely. Our sales office at The Grove will remain open by appointment only on a one-on-one basis with sanitation, social distancing and screening measures in place. Alternatively, we can conduct a remote meeting by video or, if you prefer, chat with you over the phone. Whatever feels most comfortable for you. In the meantime, washing hands, sanitising our surrounds and staying 1.5 metres away from others are the best ways to halt the spread of this disease. So wherever you are in Melbourne, please let’s all take care to do the right thing by ourselves and each other.

What’s on The Grove Community Gets Creative The Grove residents have found new and creative ways to connect with each other and develop stronger bonds during our recent months of lockdown. Running throughout March, The Grove Creative Connections Competition was a huge hit with our community and while everyone was a most worthy contender, we are thrilled to congratulate these four winners.
Lois Foster and family: Participated in the rainbow trail chalk drawing initiative, which brought joy and colour to the community during difficult times.
Tony Hopkinson: Offered home-grown mint, jalapeno and chilli peppers from his garden to The Grove community for free from outside his home.
Farhaan A.K and family: Produced heart-warming displays in the front windows of their home to contribute to the Teddy Bear search. These thoughtful highlights delighted children around the community and gave them a valued outdoor activity while playgrounds were closed.
Tiffany Hart and family: Brought in neighbours’ wheelie bins so more vulnerable residents could stay safe indoors. The family also put out baskets of free toilet paper for the community to share during the ‘Great Roll Shortage of 2020’!

Updates Illegal Rubbish Dumping
Davis Creek Footbridge
Unfortunately, we have received reports of littering and rubbish around the community in recent months. While our maintenance schedule clears public areas and waterways regularly, we rely greatly on the community to help in our efforts to keep The Grove clean.
We are expecting works on the piling supports to commence in July/August with construction of the footbridge then due to be complete by September/October.
• As a resident, please follow proper rubbish disposal for all household and construction waste.
Vision Centre Landscaping Upgrade
• If you are out and about in the community, take your litter home and encourage your visitors to do the same. • Take advantage of the three free hard and green waste collection services provided to households each year by the City of Wyndham.
With works almost finalised, the Vision Centre Park is already partially opened. Further areas of the park will be reopened to the public once COVID-19 restrictions are eased.
• Finally, if you see incidents of deliberate rubbish dumping or overflowing bins, please report these to council on (03) 9742 0777. Remember proper rubbish disposal helps to keep the whole community clean, healthy and beautiful for everyone’s benefit.
Bethany Rd Bridge In fantastic news, council has issued practical completion on the physical works on the Bethany Road Bridge. We have now lodged the plan of subdivision with the titles office for the road to be officially recognised. While we wait for the plan of subdivision to be registered, we will be installing temporary barriers and lighting in order for the bridge to be safe and open by late July/early August.
Hogans Rd Bridge Building is expected to start in July and will take approximately 18 months. During these works, Hogans Road will be closed. However, commuters will have access east via Bethany Road Bridge and Sayers Road.
