Hockey Leagues

The 2021 Adult Hockey League is separated into 3 divisions: B, C, D. Each division is for players of a specific ability/skill level.

Adult D League is for beginners. D League plays on Monday and Thursday evenings. This league is self-organized; team captains are responsible for finding their own players and organizing their team. This league will begin in December. Captains meeting and league dates will be announced in early November. Adult C League is for intermediate players. C League plays on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. C League is self-organized; team captains are responsible for finding their own players and organizing their team. League begins in December. Captains meeting & league dates will be announced in early November. Adult B League is for intermediate to advanced players. B League plays on Tuesday evenings. This league is a draft league- players should register individually on FraserValleyRec.org. This league will begin in January. Captains meeting and league dates will be announced in early December.

New for 2021! Icebox Adult Goalie Academy

This program is designed to get new goalies out on the ice and help experienced goalies improve their game The Academy will be held on Thursdays 10/21 and 10/28 This program is free for all participants The Icebox has some loaner equipment available for use Interested participants should Contact Dan@frasevalleyrec.org for more information and to register for this opportunity

Learn to Skate Using games to encourage skill development. 6 week program before Christmas for 6-10 year olds with option to join Mini-Mite or Mite in season. 6 week program after the New Year for 4-6 year olds. Mini-Mite -age 4-6 & Mite - age 6-8 practice twice per week plus weekend home scrimmages. Occasional travel to jamborees. TRAVEL TEAMS are listed below and will practice three times per week. Schedule will be posted on the website. Rec teams will be participating in competitive jamboree weekends this year in addition to regular programming. Register before August 31st with code ‘Eagles21’ to receive an early registration discount. Squirt - age 8-10 - Novice rec level. Away games are on the front range. Peewee- age 10-12 - Advanced rec level. Away games are on the front range. Bantam- age 12-14 - Please contact director@fraservalleyhockey.com if you are interested in participating in this team. 17
