Maryland Junior Rangers Program — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenbrier State Park, 21843 National Pike, Boonsboro. During this three-day program kids ages 7-10 will connect with the natural world by participating in outdoor recreational activities and hands-on environmental education programs. Each Junior Ranger will receive a certificate and pin at the graduation ceremony. Animal Safety on the Trail — 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Brunswick Branch Library, 915 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick. Before venturing out on the trails, make sure you know how to avoid dangerous animal encounters. Let Go and Play! Mindful Art — 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Middletown Branch Library, 101 Prospect St., Middletown. Using a base of mindfulness, we will make marks in pencil, pen and marker building up to acrylic paints. Join Jen Shoemaker for an exploration in the art of letting go, mindfulness at play and a building of self through community. Come dressed for a mess!
