What’s New for 2012-13 A new tour boat will be docked on St. John River in downtown Fredericton this summer. The 92-passenger Euro-style 63-foot boat will be licensed, offer catering and available for group charters and regularly scheduled boat tours of the scenic waterway. The St. John River is Canada's most storied river. It is a river that helped open up the Canadian wilderness to early settlers and will achieve Canadian Heritage river status in 2012. The St.John River Heritage Corridor, a 400 km long partnership of tourism developers, have developed a new multi-day itinerary. Beaverbrook Art Gallery Working in partnership with next door neighbor, the Crowne Plaza, the Gallery offers a special dining experience - “The Beaverbrook Experience”. A major expansion is planned which will provide more galleries, programming and reception space, and hospitality services for group tours. www.beaverbrookartgallery.org Congrats to the New Brunswick Highland Games Festival, recognized as one of ABA’s top 100 events in North America once again for 2012.
