Both of these are great to know and to understand. Based on these recommendations, I will be highlighting 10 steps to a healthier YOU! Step 3. Eat more fruits and veggies! Sounds easy, but many customers I talk with are not getting the minimum recommend Amy Pleimling Registered Dietitian amount of 5 servings total of fruits and veggies daily. Some quick tips to get in more produce: Eat fruit at breakfast; Keep fruits and veggies out on your counter or desk at work – as opposed to tucking them away until they go bad; Go convenient – buy the steam fresh veggies and prewashed salad blends when they are on sale to make it easier for you; make a fruit smoothie where you can get in dairy, and 2 fruit servings in one glass; be conscious of adding fruits and veggies to both your lunch and supper.

All due to the wonderful people who were involved with it, as well as the generous people who bought tickets and toured the homes. Little more than a year ago they were in shambles, but after unbelievably hard work were willing to put their homes on the tour for the Red Cross.
