The Call of God
In 2007, my family moved to Acworth, GA, to answer God’s call to launch Freedom Church to impact Acworth, the metro Atlanta area, and the world. Over the past 14+ years, He has allowed us to do just that. Today, I am more passionate than ever about helping people far from God to experience life in Christ.
What’s Next?
Over the past couple of years, our staff team has been asking the following question, “What is next for our church to continue to reach this community since we are currently out of space?” As an answer to this question and our prayers, we have been able to purchase five acres adjacent to our current property to continue to grow our church and continue to reach your friends, family, co-workers, classmates, etc. We get to invest financially in the vision that God has given us to continue to clear the path for people to say yes to Jesus. The next step for us will be to build a 1,100-1,200 seat auditorium. This is a bold initiative and a huge undertaking, and it will take every single one of us to make it happen.
Spirit-led Participation
You’ll be hearing more details and ways that you can get involved. I want to invite and challenge you to participate in this journey. My desire is that through prayer, fasting, and time in God’s Word as a church and as individuals, each of us will hear from God and respond in obedience to what He says. It is an honor to be your Pastor, and I can’t wait to take this journey together!

NEXT CHAPTER
Freedom Church is positioned like never before to reach more and more people as we continue to grow. We will engage and increase our involvement in the community around us through our schools, womens’ clinics, crisis pregnancy centers, foster care, adoption, and hunger relief. We will be able to invest in our local outreach partners at a much higher level. Together, we will beg God to use us to make a lasting difference in our city, our country, and our world.

We will establish an even stronger foundation that will prepare Freedom Church to see people far from God experience life in Christ for generations to come. We believe the work that God is doing in and through us is not only bigger than our church, it is bigger than our lifetime.

PRAY & LISTEN
In dependence on God, set aside time to seek Him through His work and prayer. Ask the Lord to align your heart with His and give you direction concerning His will for you and your family.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
CONSIDER YOUR STANDARD OF GIVING
As individuals and/or families, plan a few minutes to consider what God has provided for you. Then ask, “What am I willing to sacrifice to join in what God is doing next in and through Freedom Church?” We desire for God to speak to every person at Freedom Church as they consider their level of personal sacrifice (over and above regular financial giving) in order to join in His activity. Randy Alcorn says in his book, The Treasure Principle, “God prospers me not to raise my standard of living but to raise my standard of giving.’
Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:18-19

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Should I redirect my regular giving to the Expansion Offering?
No. A financial investment in the expansion offering involves giving above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings. At Freedom Church, we believe that biblical generosity can be summarized in the following two phrases: Always a Portion (Joyful obedience that always leads me to give first to the Lord out of what He provides for me) and Sometimes a Sacrifice (Spirit-led generosity that occasionally calls me to give more that I think I can to get in on what God is doing in the moment).
When will we give our Expansion Offering?
December 18th 2022 is Expansion Offering Sunday at Freedom Church. During the Experience, there will be a special time of response as we give our sacrificial offering.
What if I miss Expansion Offering Sunday?
If you cannot attend one of our Experiences on December 18, 2022, you have three options:
1. Mail your offering to: Freedom Church 3611 Cobb Pkwy NW Acworth, GA 30101
2. Drop off your offering at Freedom Church anytime Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm.
3. Give your offering online at Freedomchurch.tv/giving
How much is the project going to cost?
We are currently researching the project cost through Hope Development Group. We do know we will need to raise an estimated $2,000,000 to begin the project.
How will we pay for this project?
Based on giving history that is unique to Freedom Church and the God-sized vision He has led us to, as well as research done based on national trends, we are praying and trusting God for $2,000,000 through our expansion offering. The difference between our offering amount and the cost of the project will be funded by Freedom’s available cash on hand and long-term financing.
When will construction begin and finish?
The speed of this project depends on how quickly we can raise the needed funds. Our desire is to begin as soon as possible.
How does my offering impact the Expansion Offering?
As an expression of our value of generous living, ten percent of the initial offering given will go towards increasing our ministries locally, nationally and internationally.
Father, This is a big step. We’re asking You to strengthen our faith and help us grow spiritually in the area of generosity. We understand that everything belongs to You, but You’ve graciously entrusted to us, we want to use for You. Thank You for this opportunity to be involved in this offering. We’re trusting in Your promise to care for us as we seek to live out our value of generous living. Thank You for all that You are going to accomplish in and through us.
