Onshore Tours

If you want to get out and about to experience more of what this part of South Australia has to offer, we’d be delighted to host you on one of our optional onshore tours. Our tours are available to all passengers, depending on which cruise you decide to do. Whilst most of them can be booked once you’re onboard, both the Monarto Zoo and Barossa tours require pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

MONARTO ZOO WILDLIFE TOUR

$63pp (pre-bookings required)

Take a snapshot tour of one of the largest open-range zoos in the world, spanning more than 1,500 hectares and home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles.

Monarto Zoo Wildlife Tour – available on the 3 and 7 Night Murraylands and Wildlife Cruises.

BAROSSA WINE AND HERITAGE TOUR

$170pp (pre-bookings required)

Travel into the famous Barossa for wine tasting and morning tea at Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop with a cooking demonstration and lunch and tastings at Lambert Estate.

Barossa Wine and Heritage Tour – available on conclusion of the 3 and 4 Night Cruises. Included FREE in 7 Night Murraylands and Wildlife Cruise.

BUSH TUCKER BREAKFAST

$38pp (bookable onboard through your Cruise Director)

Enjoy a traditional breakfast on the shores of the river. From kangaroo sausages and scrambled eggs to wattleseed pancakes and billy tea, the early morning sounds of the river will be a great way to start the day.

NOCTURNAL TOUR

$20pp (bookable onboard through your Cruise Director)

Enjoy a fun cart ride after sunset spotlighting for nocturnal animals including kangaroos, wombats, foxes and the many night birds found in this region. Warm blankets are provided on chilly nights!
