1) First off, can you tell us bit about yourself? My name is Carlos Diaz Valverde. I am from Lima, Peru. I am a Software Engineer with an expertise of six years. I work as a freelance since 2009 and I made nine projects. Additionally, I have a stable job besides where I made further projects. The total amount of projects I made is 33. 3) What was your inspiration and when did you actually decide to become a freelancer?
 My thoughts were that I do not always want to work for someone else, that I do prefer to have my own business and to be my own boss. That was when my idea of freelancing was born. I have always been a parttime freelancer because I work for a company besides.

5) Do you use other freelancers or companies to provide skills that you don’t possess? Yes, I have other contacts for specific functionality such as design screen, documentation for technical manuals, support development, etc. In complex projects, I retrieve people of my linkedin network, contacts of the university or work with people I already have worked before.

6) Now tell us, how do you find new clients that are interested in your services?
 I use freelancing website or friends that recommend me.

7) What about freelancermap.com? Can you tell us a little bit about your experience with our IT-network? I am new in this network. Comparing for others, your emails are direct and name the required skills. I can’t give a lot of feedback yet as I still did not explore all features of freelancermap.com.
