Poll on freelancermap.com A recent survey has now confirmed that freelancers and selfemployed contractors work more than full-time employees. The survey was conducted by the international IT-project platform freelancermap.com which asked its users about their regular workload as freelancers.


Results 60% of the participants stated that they are facing more workload as a freelancer than in their previous full-time employment. In turn, 31% of the interviewed freelancers predicated the opposite and confirmed to work less than full-time employees. Another 9% of the participants could not make a statement as they never have worked as a full-time employee before.


Reason

The reason why most of the interviewed freelancers and selfemployed contractors are faced with more workload than fulltime employees may vary between the amount of projects, industries, competition, motivation or working style.
