pressure and extreme heat, one of nature’s strongest materials is created. Diamonds, made of just carbon, contain rigid crystal structures that are so sturdy it is nearly impossible for any other elements to break through. On the rare occasion that an impurity does enter a diamond’s chemical composition, the results are remarkable.

Because of this infrequency, naturally colored diamonds are among the most rare and valuable gems in the industry. Yellow and brown, the most common colors found, are the effect of trace element nitrogen. A much rarer occurance is the elusive blue diamond, caused by trace element boron.

Buyer’s Premium A Buyer’s Premium will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price.
