Effective and powerful teaching strategies is a focus of this course. As educators, we must accept the responsibility and develop the balance needed in creating a framework that supports and measures effective teaching. Educators will address skills that promote coherent and connected lessons, gain strategies and resources that enhance learning and develop challenging and rigorous learning experiences. Please join us in developing Winning Strategies that empower educators to improve on lessons that effectively impact student learning. An additional fee of $80, payable to Jon Maska, is due the first day of class. This course is an online class. Participants will use Moodle to complete their work. Applying Winning Strategies is an extended skills opportunity for educators who were previously enrolled in Winning Strategies for Students to continue development of learned strategies. Educators will become intentional with continued development of authentic student engagement strategies that promote student success. Intentional implementation of learned strategies will allow the educator to stregthen skills in analysis and reflection of best practices and deeded improvements to better meet the needs of all learners.
