2014 - 2017 Review
2014 Shenzhen Fringe Festival slogan was "You Are Fringe!" Accordingly, the festival prepared different thematic series of activities, namely Fringe Family, Fringe Chaos, Fringe Fusion and Fringe Parade. “It is time for you to put down your inhibition and to explore the infinite fun of art. Let's Fringe!”
2015 Shenzhen Fringe Festival came with the theme of "Roam through Fringe! Play For Fringe!" It had a series of events on different days related to the themes such as Fringe Recreational Day, Fringe Playing Day, Fringe Touring Day, Fringe Kids Playing Day and Fringe Grand Parade. Shenzhen fringe festival started to become the symbol of freedom, pluralism and openness gradually.
2016 For the 7th year of Shenzhen Fringe festival, we used “Moving Fringe!” as the theme. We recruited over 300 terrific artists from the local or all over the world. The circuitry of different art styles was the fascinating thing about Fringe festival; it also inspired people to rethink of the relationship between performing art and civil life.
2017 The Shenzhen Fringe festival subject is“friinge here!”More than 400 outstanding artists from around the world and local regions were invited to perform.In nanshan district, we set up 9 stages in total, all kinds of artistic creation into different corners of the city, to achieve the spirit of "stage everywhere ".
