Club Cards
Fripp Island Club
As a Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort Guest or Club member you are automatically a guest of The Fripp Island Club for the length of your stay! Your Club Guest Card is magnetically encoded and entitles you access to all Club amenities. We simply ask that you and every person in your group age 13 and older carry a Club Card and show it whenever you use the facilities. Since our amenities are operated for the exclusive enjoyment of Fripp Island Club members and Club Card carrying guests, our staff members are instructed to turn away individuals without cards. Please carry your card to avoid any inconvenience.The Club Card is your key to all of the Island’s fun. Check-In

We have a large selection of high-quality vacation rentals ranging from oceanfront villas to scenic homes with marsh views. Our Lowcountry resort rentals are fully equipped for your every convenience. No need to stand in line for a key, simply use your unique PIN code for the keyless door lock once check-in time begins. Each home or villa includes linens for bed and bath and a start up kit (includes dishwashing soap, bath soap, shampoo, bath tissue, and paper towels). Your guest cards will be in your check-in packet upon your arrival, so there’s no delay to starting your vacation fun! If you didn’t book through the Resort this year, that’s ok, there’s always next time! Beach Hut Rentals
You don’t have to lug all of your gear when you use the Beach Hut! Let us help you make beach set up easy. Head to The Beach Club, then make your way out to The Beach Hut. All rentals are first come, first serve—sorry, reservations are not available. If you’ve got questions, please give our Activity Center a call at 843-838-1516 843-838-1516.The Beach Hut is open from 10am to 7pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day. A cruise on the Fripper II is a perfect way to experience the beautiful waterways along with the rich and diverse flora and fauna on Fripp Island, a salt water paradise. We offer a variety of cruises that will give you memories to last a lifetime. Book the Fripper II for a private party and let us take care of all your party catering needs. Ocean Creek Golf Course
Ocean Creek is PGA Champion Davis Love III’s first signature course. Four distinct rolling dune lines provide major design elements with ridges climbing as high as 15 feet as they corkscrew across the fairways. Salt marshes and native wetlands also play a key role in the playability and character of Ocean Creek. 843-838-1576

Check Out Our Activities Nestled in the trees near the Cabana Club, our Activity Center offers a variety of programming and an up close (and sometimes hands on) look at some of the inhabitants of Fripp Island. Feel free to stop in and meet Scooter, our newest resident, or check out our alligator enclosure, home of Savannah and Veranda! The Activity Center is Camp Fripp headquarters: offering daily activities for ages 3-12. Our friendly staff is here from 8am to 7pm (Monday - Friday, 10-4 on weekends) if you’d like to participate in some of our exciting activities, or just to ask questions about the wildlife here. Check out our entire activity program calendar on page 22!
Fripp Island Conservation
Our staff naturalists work with SCDNR, the Fripp Island Turtle Patrol, and the local Audubon Club to help preserve all of the truly amazing creatures that call Fripp home. We love to educate visitors about these wonderful creatures so drop by and let us tell you all about them and the efforts being used by many to conserve them for future generations.
11 Hi Kids! Do you want to meet new friends and go on fun adventures? Have your parents sign you up for Camp Fripp! Join the Activity Center Staff Monday through Friday at the Creek House begin20 22 ning at 9:00 am (on Thursdays we meet at PegLegs at 8:30 am). Camp reservations must be made by 7pm the night before. Spaces are limited, so call 843-838-1516 to make your reservations early. Camp Fripp Cancellation Policy requires a call by 8:30am the morning of. All children must be bathroom independent. No pull-ups please. Many of our activities take place outdoors, so please make sure your children are prepared for the elements.

Learn about the plants and wildlife while we spend some time in the Activity Center Garden!

Lounge Poolside There’s no better way to spend the day than at any of our outdoor pool complexes. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly spot to chill all day, somewhere to work on your lap time, or an adults-only experience, we have five pool complexes that will have you suiting up for a good time!
Cabana Club Complex
Our favorite family location, Cabana Club is on the south end of the island. Cabana is home to an oval pool (heated seasonally), lagoon pool with misting cave and a kids pool. Willie’s Wet Bar, Cabana Club Restaurant and Veranda Beach Salon are also in the complex.
The Marina Pool
Located at our marina complex, this pool offers a chance to take a dip while enjoying the scenery. From 12-2pm this pool is Camp Fripp only.
Olympic Pool
Located at the center of the island, near the Beach Club, this pool is just steps away from the beach and includes a baby pool, and lap swims from 8am-9am.

Adult Pool
Also located at the center of the island in the Beach Club Complex, the Adult Pool is for patrons 21 years of age and older. It is the perfect place to relax, have a drink from The Sandbar, and listen to bands play our favorite island tunes. While you’re here—check out the Resort’s new green space: the Beach Club Greene!
Ocean Point Pool
Situated across from the Ocean Point Grille and the Ocean Point Golf Links on the North end of the island, this oceanfront pool includes both a baby pool and a pool for mom and dad.
Beach Access
The Fripp Island Property Owners Association (FIPOA) maintains beach access trails. Each access is marked with a wooden sign and offers a path through the dunes. For specific locations, call the FIPOA at 843-838-4155 or visit https://frippislandliving. com/things-to-do/the-beach.

Work on Your Backhand Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort offers yearround tennis play and instruction on eight soft, fastdry courts. The racquet club also boasts 6 pickleball courts that are popular with all ages. Don’t forget to visit our pro shop featuring the latest men’s and women’s apparel and equipment. Explore as a Family . . . There’s so much more to do at Fripp Island Resort than we could ever preview in this booklet; so as you wrap up your time here, make sure you get out and explore! Our island is over 3.5 miles long so there’s lots to see! Rent a bike and see if you can complete the “Turtles of Tarpon Scavenger Hunt” or just enjoy the scenery! There’s so much to explore, and as a barrier island, you’ll never see the same beach twice!

Did you know? Fripp Island, SC is home to over 200 native alligators. Many alligators on the island are part of studies done by our Resort biologists. Fripp island is aWildlife Sanctuary, meaning these reptiles are protected by the state. In South Carolina, it is against the law to feed or harass alligators, so please remember to give these magnificent creatures space!

8-9am Fripp is Certified Wildlife Habitat and an Audubon Important Area. A variety of birds use our beaches, maritime forests, golf courses, ponds, and marshes.This walking tour will depart from the Activity Center and we will search for wading birds, shore birds, and woodland species. Beginners to expert birders are welcome! This program does not require reservations. Scheduled year round. ISLAND SAFARI $15/person 4-5pm Thursdays Come along with our naturalists to explore the natural wildlife that you can find out on Fripp! From alligators, to birds, to fiddler crabs you never know what you will find to learn about. This trip will depart from the Activity Center via van, so spots are limited. Call ahead to reserve a spot on this island safari! Scheduled Memorial Day - Labor Day. CRABBING & SEINING $12/person 10:30-11:30am Sundays 12:30-1:30pm Fridays For this program, our naturalists will teach you how to use crab drop nets, seine nets, and cast nets. Learn about the different types of fish and crabs that you can catch in Fripp’s coastal waters. If you want to try it out, plan on getting wet! This program is catch and release only. Please wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. This is fun for all ages and does not require a reservation. Meet our naturalists at the end of Tarpon Boulevard to participate! Scheduled May - September. FREE FEEDING FRENZY 5-6pm Fridays Be sure to stop by the Activity Center on Fridays to see all of our resident animals get fed! You will get to see all of our snakes, turtles, lizards, and alligators eat as well as learn about their diets, feeding habits, and how their bodies are designed to eat the way they do. Reservations are not required. Scheduled year round. $15/person GATOR WALK 5-6pm Mondays 8-9am Wednesdays One of Fripp Island’s most beloved animals is the American Alligator! Join us and we will introduce you to our captive alligators, Savannah and Veranda.Then our naturalists will take you looking for these prehistoric predators in some of Fripp’s golf course ponds. As we watch for gators, you’ll learn all about Fripp’s apex predator. Reservations are not required. Scheduled year round.

$20/person 8:30-9:30pm Looking for a fun activity to do at night? Look no further! Join us on a nature walk to look for all different kinds of night wildlife that we see on island, including frogs, toads, alligators, raccoons, opossums, bats, and owls. Our naturalists will teach you all about these wonderful animals as you see them! Some flashlights are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please call ahead of time to reserve your spot. Scheduled Memorial Day - Labor Day. $45/child JUNIOR NATURALIST 2:30-4pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Do your kiddos love animals, nature, and spending time outdoors? Join our naturalists this afternoon to learn more about the beautiful wildlife Fripp has to offer. Each day of the week has a different theme: Nature Walk Bingo, Garden Exploration, Marsh Madness, Sea Turtle Day, Reptiles 101, and Island Investigation. If your 3 to 12 year old completes all of the 6 junior naturalist programs, they will receive an official Fripp Island Junior Naturalist certificate. Meet us at the Activity Center to start your child’s journey as a Junior Naturalist! Please call ahead of time to reserve your spot. See page 25 for more information. Scheduled Memorial Day - Labor Day. $50 single/ $75 tandem MARSH KAYAKING 9-11am Monday, Friday, and Saturday Join our naturalists as we kayak down our winding tidal creeks. Share a tandem kayak with a buddy or paddle by yourself in a single. On this tour, we will look out for ospreys and bald eagles flying overhead, fiddler crabs walking the mud flats, dolphins splashing the shoreline, and so much more! Please call ahead to reserve your spot on this boat tour. Scheduled year round. MEET THE ANIMALS FREE 12-1pm Weekdays Make sure to drop by to meet our resident animals on your stay! Our naturalists will take out a new animal each day for you to interact with and ask questions about. On Saturdays and Sundays, meet us by the Beach Club to see some of your favorite resident animals enjoying the sunshine! This program does not require a reservation. Scheduled year round. NATURE CRUISE $50/person 9am-12pm Wednesdays Come aboard the Fripper II with our naturalists for a pontoon boat tour of the tidal creeks and islands around Fripp. Learn about Fripp’s history and the creatures you can find in the marsh! For this tour, we will stop at Bull Point on Caper’s Island to comb the beach, so bring along a reusable bag for the shells you find and learn about! Please call ahead of time to reserve your spot. ACTIVITY CENTER PROGRAMS NATURE GOLF CART BINGO
$15/team 10-11am Join our naturalists for a fun game of golf cart bingo! Race around the island and test your knowledge following different nature related clues to fill out your bingo board and win a prize. This is fun for all ages and does not require a reservation. Guests should meet our naturalists at the Creek House to join in on the fun! Scheduled Memorial Day - Labor Day. SUNSET KAYAKING $60 single/ $80 tandem 6:30-8:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays The marsh is arguably the best place around Fripp to watch the sunset. On this guided tour, we will look for and discuss the plants and many animals of the salt marsh. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the tidal creeks and watch the colors of the sky and water change. Make sure you bring a camera and a way to keep it dry! Please call ahead to reserve your spot.Tour is 2 hours and will depart from the Marina boat ramp. Scheduled year round. $20/person TURTLE NIGHT WALK 8:30-9:30pm Mondays and Tuesdays Join our naturalists for an evening beach walk under the stars to try and catch a glimpse of a nesting sea turtle or hatchlings leaving the nest!You will learn about how to safely view sea turtles at night, red lights, and how you can help protect our state reptile. Scheduled May through September (or when last nest hatches). TURTLE WALK $20/person 8-9am Thursdays Fripp Island’s beach is an important nesting area for endangered sea turtles. Every summer, loggerhead sea turtles crawl onto our beach at night and lay their eggs. Join our naturalists for a morning beach walk to check out some of the nests and to learn all about our sea turtles! Please call ahead of time to reserve your spot. Nature Walk Bingo: Kids will explore the island with our naturalists while testing their knowledge while following Fripp-related nature clues. Sea Turtle Day: Our junior naturalists will get to learn about the different sea turtles that you can find in South Carolina coastal waters. They will head to the beach to learn about mama turtles and hatchlings and how to help protect our endangered sea turtles.

Garden Exploration: Does your child have a green thumb? This is just the program for them! Learn about local plant species and what they attract, as well as what might live on the plants you find (bugs, beetles, and bees, oh my!). Reptiles 101: If your child is a budding herpetologist (a person who studies reptiles and amphibians) this is the program for you! Get familiar with some of the Activity Center’s resident reptiles. We will discuss habitats, diets, anatomy, and more.

Marsh Madness: For this program, kids will get to learn about the unique marsh ecosystem that you find on Fripp. From the fiddler crabs in the sand, to the egrets flying in the sky, each animal has an important role. Island Investigation: Is your kid curious? Here is an opportunity for them to test their curiosity while also getting to explore the island.

Do you want to meet new friends and go on fun adventures? Have your parents sign you up for Camp Fripp! Join the Activity Center Staff Monday through Friday at the Creek House beginning at 9:00am. Camp reservations must be made by 7pm the night before. Spaces are limited, so call 843-838-1516 to make your reservations early. Camp Fripp Cancellation Policy requires a call by 8:30am the morning of. All children must be bathroom independent. Check out page 11 for more info! $50 / person CANVAS AND CABERNET 7-9pm Tuesdays Create your own masterpiece while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine or beer. A local artist will guide you through the painting basics and at the end of the night you will be able to take your masterpiece home! No previous painting experience is necessary. Just a few miles from the Intracoastal Waterway, Fripp Island Marina is ideally located for fishing and boating. The Marina offers dockage, boat storage, boat slip rentals and a loading ramp.
Charter Fishing
Charter services are available with one of our experienced guides to fish as far out as the Gulf Stream. Sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, marlin, wahoo, grouper and snapper are plentiful. For inshore fishing, the waters around Fripp Island are teeming with trout, flounder, red drum, cobia, tarpon and Spanish mackerel.

Our rentals are the best way to get around and explore the island. Rentals are available when you present your Club Guest Card at Island Rentals, which is open daily 8am until 6pm. Call 843-838-1518 for information and for reservations.
Golf Cart Rentals
Golf carts make it easy to get around and explore the island. A valid driver’s license is required for rental. Standard and limo carts are available. Delivery is available for a fee.

Bicycle Rentals
Experience Fripp Island by bicycle. FREE Pick Up and Delivery (4 bike minimum) is provided to Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort guests, when available, with a 24-hour notice.
Kayak Rentals
Tour the Lowcountry salt marsh in one of our kayaks. Single or double kayaks are available to rent by the hour.
Boat Rentals
Carolina Skiffs are available to meet all your fishing and cruising needs. They will accommodate 6 to 8 people, depending on the size of skiff you choose.
