ISLAND MAIN BOATHOUSE The main boathouse serves as a principle entrance point to the island. It houses 2 slips of equal size and a utility room on the water level. It is attached to the main dock and Canoe house via decking. Upstairs, there is a large room containing a pool table, a large fireplace, open beamed ceiling, built-in window seating on two sides with a large picture window facing east (?). There is also a small sitting area, powder room and a large porch and deck partially covered by the roof. MAIN HOUSE The Main House provides the principle sleeping quarters for the camp. The first floor includes a large foyer with a fireplace, a generous living room with a large fireplace, 2 built-in window seats in the corners with picture windows facing out to the lake. Also on the first floor are 3 bedrooms (one with a fireplace and a large walk-in closet) and a large bathroom with tub and new shower stall (When was this installed?) In addition, there is a laundry room with washer/dryer and plenty of shelving. Up a grand staircase with the walls covered in original birch bark are 2 bedrooms with a connecting bath (tub, no shower), a large bathroom (tub, no shower), a walk-in closet/storage area, and a “dormitory” room that sleeps 4 with a fireplace. There is a covered veranda surrounding almost 3 sides of the building. The Main House is connected to the Dinning Kitchen building by a covered walkway. DINING ROOM , KITCHEN, PLAYROOM, ICE HOUSE & RUNWAY Â This building contains the dining area for camp with a fireplace and large picture window facing the lake. A pantry containing 2 dishwashers, shelving and storage is located between the dining room and the kitchen. The kitchen has a commercial grade refrigerator and freezer and commercial grade stove. There is also a standard refrigerator/freezer and a small, old stove/oven. Off the kitchen is a powder room and a family room with a large fireplace and 2 large built-in storage cabinets. The dining room is connected to the main house by a covered walkway. Out the kitchen back door, through a connected breezeway is an additional structure that includes a walk-in refrigerated room, a small walk-in storage area and beyond that a very large, windowless storage space.

Kidd Cottage (Bungalow)



c KIDD COTTAGE Â The cottage is a 2 bedroom guest bungalow immediately north of the covered walkway. The building includes an efficiency kitchen, bathroom (tub, no shower), a fireplace in each bedroom and an enclosed sleeping porch. The cottage has been provided with electric baseboard heat and is used for off-season accommodations.

THE LODGE Â The lodge is located in the northeast portion of the camp compound. It was originally built as a one room structure with an enclosed sleeping porch. It has a large open living room with a fireplace and a large picture window facing down to the lake. In 1985 the lodge was expanded according to a design by Durfee & Bridges Associates to include a bedroom and a bathroom (shower, no tub).

THE GUIDE HOUSE Â The Guide House was originally built as quarters for the summer staff. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, one bath (shower, no tub) and a laundry room with a washer and dryer and 3 large utility sinks. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and one bath (tub, no shower). An outdoor shower was installed (?) on the small covered back porch.
