ACQUIRE Highly efficient water conditioner and pH buffer Acquire softens hard water by effective and rapid sequestration of Ca++ and Mg++. These hard water cations are bound and rendered unavailable in a soluble form. 2

Buffers the pH of spray water to optimum (pH5-6). Does not over acidify spray solution which can reduce plant protection product efficacy (e.g. sulfonylurea herbicides). Neutral to negative charge aids uptake though the positively charged leaf surface.

BORON 15 (PROLEAF) Foliar boron Boron is essential for ensuring root, shoot and seed development.

Involved in cell wall and pollen production. Deficiency leads to abnormal cell division and can result in the visual symptoms of stem splitting, stunting at growing points and puckered leaves. Heart rot in sugar beet where growing points die off. Disruption of pollen production can also lead to problems with flowering and poor pod set.

Other functions of boron: • Carbohydrate and Nucleic Acid metabolism • Sugar transport within the plant (sugars are transported as borate complexes) • Enhanced uptake of Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium • The promotion of cell differentiation and maturity • Synthesis of cytokinins and the translocation of auxins.

GRO-PLAN P High strength foliar phosphite A high strength phosphite-based biostimulant applied to increase rooting and maximise crop establishment. Gro-Plan P triggers the production of auxins that are responsible for root growth. Stimulates root exudate beneficial to soil mycorrhiza.

MAGISTRATE Foliar magnesium, molybdenum and sulphur Magnesium ensures optimal enzyme activity for protein synthesis, as well as having a role in aiding phosphate and nitrogen metabolism and energy transfer. Molybdenum is important for grain set and embryo maintenance. 8

Involved in enzyme functions associated with nitrogen and sulphur metabolism. Deficiency in brassica crops, especially cauliflower, can lead to a narrowing of leaves known as “whiptail�. Magistrate 3.5 l/ha = Bittersaltz 5.0 kg/ha plus molybdenum. Rapid uptake and easy to use formulation, readily compatible.

MAXIM PPE Contains Pidolic Acid (PGA) biostimulant + multi nutrients Pidolic Acid is a signalling compound in nitrogen metabolism. Pidolic Acid induces two main responses in the plant: • Increases nitrogen assimilation, amino acid synthesis and protein production 12

• Primes plants to rapidly recover from stress once limiting factors are addressed. (e.g. drought, rapid growth periods). Maxim PPE combines Pidolic Acid with key nutrients responsible for root nodule production (boron, molybdenum). Maxim PPE also contains: • Magnesium for growth and size of nodules • Manganese to reduce marsh spot • Zinc for Indole Acetic Acid (auxin) production - important in root growth • Sulphur for nodulation and protein synthesis.

PROSPER ST Phosphite-based seed treatment to maximise establishment Prosper ST is a phosphite-based biostimulant seed treatment that triggers gene expression and auxin production, signalling increased root growth. This typically results in a 30% increase in root biomass, allowing improved access to soil nutrients and moisture. 20

Increases rooting in cereals, oilseed rape, maize and grass for approximately 60 days after sowing. Sequence with Gro-Plan P (foliar phosphite) to extend the benefit on rooting. The benefits of better root growth are particularly noticeable in wheat and oilseed rape grown on light land or later sown crops, with improved establishment.

RIGGER Methylated rapeseed adjuvant oil Rigger is a low viscosity Methylated Seed Oil (MSO) that is easy to mix, forming a stable homogeneous emulsion with a wide range of plant protection products. Rigger improves coverage of the target surface and increases penetration through the outer waxy cuticle, increasing herbicide efficacy. 22

SALUTE AF Spreader and sticker Salute AF contains three effective adjuvant components designed to enhance the efficacy of T3 fungicides in cereals, increasing disease protection (especially Fusarium spp) and therefore reducing mycotoxin content. 24

Organo-silicone adjuvants ensure complete coverage of the glumes and improve spray penetration. Latex polymers reduce wash-off in wet weather and protect triazoles from UV degradation. The combination of well-timed fungicide + angled spray nozzle and Salute AF can increase the level of Fusarium protection typically achieved from 50 to 80%.

Moisture collecting around the pod seam causes seed pods to open due to constant expansion and shrinking. Senate coats the pods with a polymer mesh, maintaining their integrity and stopping premature opening and consequent seed losses.

Replum

Senate does not impair the natural crop drying process and does not affect seed maturity or quality.

Dehiscence zone

Senate is applied at the pod’s “green and bendy� stage, and once applied lasts for approximately 60 days.

Septum

This makes the pod less likely to shatter during ripening.

SPRAYFORCE DRT Drift retardant and multifunctional additive SprayForce DRT improves the deposition and retention of spray droplets, and is an effective pH buffer, water conditioner and anti-foam. SprayForce DRT significantly decreases the number of spray droplets under 100 microns, reducing spray drift by up to 75% (Source: Silsoe trials 2019) and improving environmental profile. 28

Softens hard water by effective and rapid sequestration of Ca++ and Mg++. These hard water cations are bound and rendered unavailable in a soluble form. Buffers the pH of spray water pH to optimum (pH6). Increased spray deposition. Droplets do not coalesce and roll off leaf surface, spray retention is increased. SPRAYFORCE DRT Drift reduction research results

Independent studies conducted by Silsoe Spray Applications Unit demonstrated that the inclusion of 1% of SprayForce DRT can reduce spray drift by up to 75%. This is achieved by using polymers which reduce the number of fine spray droplets (<100 microns) most prone to drift from 19.5% to 9.5% thus increasing the droplet Volume Median Diameter (VMD) point. VMD refers to the midpoint droplet size, where half of the volume of spray is in droplets smaller, and half of the volume is in droplets larger than the mean.

SULPHUR PLUS Foliar sulphur NPK 10.6 – 0 – 0 + 65% SO3 Contains ammonium thiosulphate (ATS) combined with uptake agent dimethyl sulphone (DMS). • 5.0 l/ha Sulphur Plus (ATS + DMS) raises in-crop sulphur by around 10% • Rapid uptake and utilisation - within 4 days and lasts for 30 days Sulphur deficiency affects protein composition of the crop, reducing yield and grain quality (e.g. baking quality of flour).

TONTO High performance herbicide adjuvant Tonto is the market leading adjuvant for use with translocated grass-weed herbicides (e.g fop/dim/den and SU). The unique combination of surfactants ensures the herbicide is coated evenly over the target surface. Up to 45% better coverage than standard oil-based adjuvants. 34

Active penetrant ethoxylated adjuvants increase herbicide uptake by up to 50% in comparison to Methylated Seed Oils (MSOs) ensuring: • More rapid uptake of active ingredient through target wax layers • No increased crop phytotoxicity – safer to crop than MSO or mineral oil.
