“I use them for commuting and did a 6 day bikepacking trip. They’ve been exposed to rain and kept my gear dry. After riding full days on dusty back roads and trails, the roll top kept the dust out as well. Planning on using these bags for years to come on my commute as well as road touring and backpacking trips.”

“This little bag, like all frost river products is constructed with excellent quality, and fits a decent amount of small items in the pouch(snacks, sunglasses case, etc....). I found it to be versatile as you can attach it to a bike as intended but I use it as an add on for my devils kettle bag from frost river. Overall great bag.”

“I
don’t want to,” my four-year-old self cried tirelessly as my parents encouraged me with every ounce of will power they had.
Learning to ride a bike was similar to pulling teeth with me. I didn’t want to ride the bike, and the bike didn’t want me to ride it. When the time came for the training wheels to come off the old bike, my excitement for the thrill of the ride vanished. After many agonizing hours and a fair amount of tears, I finally learned how to ride a two wheeled bicycle. Even after I got the hang of it, I still wasn’t a huge fan of riding. I lived on a busy country road in rural Minnesota, and my parents would only allow me to ride up and down our quarter-mile driveway. I eventually lost interest and sold the little Walmart brand bike. 18

FROST RIVER FIELD GUIDE VOL VII
Flash-forward to my sophomore year in high school. A few buddies of mine decided to do a 50 mile bike tour on a whim. The tour is part of a series of races in my hometown, and the 50 miler was the next one on my checklist. I was dreading it. I didn’t have an adequate bike or bike shorts, but I was in shape from cross-country running, so I figured it would be a breeze. So I hopped on my dad’s Trek 7500 urban bike and started my journey. At about the 20 mile mark I knew I made a mistake. When I finally crossed the finish line 4.5 hours later, I never wanted to touch a bike again. I remembered why I disliked it in the first place. After that, I didn’t touch a bike again for five years. THEN I MOVED TO DULUTH. Duluth, Minnesota is home to some of the best biking in the Midwest. With hundreds of miles of single-track mountain biking trails, Duluth is the destination for recreational riders and elite racers alike. All of this is great and all, but I had no interest in biking and figured I’d severely hurt myself if I tried. Needless to say, I avoided biking during my first few years in the Northland. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, everything changed. I no longer was able to workout like I normally did, and needed another form of exercise other than running. My roommate was just getting into mountain biking and encouraged me to give it a shot. I was reluctant, of course, but figured I should at least try it. All of my friends did it, so why couldn’t I? I, once again, grabbed my dad’s old bike and hit the trails with my roommate. The first few experiences were embarrassing to say the least. I would fall off the easy parts of the trail, or nearly kareem off the edge of a cliff. After a few times, I started to get the hang of it. I would fall less and less, and my hatred for biking slowly went away. I bought my first real mountain bike from Facebook Marketplace for $400. From that point forward, it was game on. Since then, I have purchased two more bikes (a gravel bike and a road bike) and have big intentions about upgrading my mountain bike. I dove head first into the sport. With my previous biking experiences, this came as a huge shock to my parents and I. None of us thought I would ever get into biking to any extent, but now I ride almost every day and truly enjoy it. Yes, I still fall often and no, I am not a professional cyclist by any means. I do, however, have a newfound passion for it that I never thought I would have. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and ended up falling in love with a new sport that I can do for the rest of my life. Now I have all the biking gear; sunglasses, helmets, shoes, and packs. Frost River has an assortment of packs that can be used for cross-country mountain biking, long gravel rides, or casual rides through the city. Each pack is weather resistant and durable, meaning you don’t have to worry about it falling apart as you shred the single track. Check out the vast selection of cycling packs provided by Frost River.

The Arrowhead Collection is one of our customer favorites of the daypack category.
After many years of service of my old backpack and after many months searching for an adequate replacement I decided to go for the Arrowhead Trail. I had some problems during the ordering process (my fault) but the customer care was simply amazing, helping me solving every difficulty! The package arrived without problems or delays in Europe and finally I had my new adventure friend. The product in itself is awesome. Stud and heavy waxed canvas, high quality leather and brass buckles for an incredible daypack! I’m 100% satisfied by both the product and the customer care and whenever I’ll should buy other bags for sure I’m gonna order from Frost River.
